Support the Institute for Political History

The Institute for Political History supports a wide range of programs and projects, including the Political History Conference;  graduate student travel through the Hugh D. Graham Award and the Thomas B. Critchlow Award; the Program in Political History and Thought at Arizona State University; and other civic education projects. The Institute operates without a full time staff and with little overhead.

The Institute seeks to expand its projects to provide greater support for the Political History Conference, a break-even conference that relies on the voluntary services of graduate students and staff who receive little compensation for their work. The Institute has established a fund to help defray costs for hard-pressed graduate students or foreign scholars. In these difficult times in the academy, it is important to come together as an academic community to help aspiring scholars. The Institute plans to expand its plenary sessions through the creation of an endowment that will establish a regular plenary session on Presidential Politics, as well as other sessions.

Donations to the Institute for Political History, a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational foundation may be considered a charitable contribution. Consult with your tax advisor regarding the deductiblity of charitable contributions. Please consider giving to a worthwhile cause—maintaining an academic community.

You can contribute by clicking on one or more of the buttons on our projects page.  Donations are given to a secured account that go directly to the Institute for Political History.
